Composting is the process of taking organic materials such as yard clippings, food scraps, etc., and breaking them down into nutrient-rich compost that can be used to improve soil and plant health.

Adults are invited to a presentation led by Janell Wehr, horticulture educator with Extension Marathon County, to learn more about soil texture, pH levels, how to get started with composting, and the basics of fertilizing.
